We're Stickin' Good Stuff in Your Ears on the "Let's Go!" Tour
National Day of the Cowboy in Sedona, Arizona
While Austin Ladd Roberts and Patti have made the beautiful Texas Hill Country "home," they travel, tell their stories and sing their songs throughout the western US and Canada. From fine Wineries in Texas and California, to Concert Venues to Local Hangouts and Coffee Houses to House Concerts, they feature their original tunes and acoustic covers.
Currently touring nationally as a duo, their "Let's Go" Tour and music falls between "Texas Folk / Roots" and "Americana." Austin Ladd's voice has been described as "Lyle Lovett meets Gordon Lightfoot". Patti adds her bluesy, west coast rock sound for moving solos and tight harmonies. Not quite folk, not quite country - defined by fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing that rests nicely between James Taylor and Chet Atkins.
For those venues that like covers mixed in to please the audience, you will hear a repertoire ranging from Norah Jones to Linda Ronstadt to Patsy Cline and from Lyle Lovett to James Taylor.
Austin Ladd has played shows with many of the legends of what is now known as "Texas Country" - from Texas Outlaws such as Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Merle Haggard, Joe Ely and Leon Russell to Pure Prairie League, Kenny Loggins and The Byrds. His first recordings were with folk great Nanci Griffith in Austin, Texas.
Patti and Austin Ladd are kicking off their "Let's Go!" Tour July 10, 2015 at George Strait's Tapatio Springs. With destinations all across North America, stay tuned and sign up to join them in their Travels!
